IT Specialist

The Job

As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to internal end users and managing various IT infrastructure tasks. You’ll report to the IT Manager.

Your mission

It is your mission to provide support on internal end users on hardware (installation of printers and PC’s) and tools- Installation: of hardware. You also have an important role in making sure our new employees have all the IT equipment and tools they need. Not all your colleagues are located in Belgium, so assistance of remote users in troubleshooting or taking control of the system remotely is a part of the job too. To be more precise, you’ll be supporting Microsoft exchange, Sharepoint, teams etc and VMware, Veeam and Netapp

You provide Patch Management via ManageEngine Desktop central, and work on various tasks related to Security Awareness.

Our IT specialist also manages the Windows server environment, does maintenance if our Network infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP) and works on the Authorisations management (Active directory, Office 365, LDAP), therefore it is important to have experience in IT infrastructure management.

Your qualifications

We’re looking for candidates with a bachelor diploma in an IT related education (or equal by experience) with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.

Following knowledge/experiences are a plus in your application:  Virtual box, Windows server, Active directory, Windows 10, VM ware, Docker, NetApp Storage, Cybersecurity. 

Knowledge about Linux is a plus – interest to learn is a must!

The ideal soft skills for this role are proactivity, have a can-do mentality and always to be interested in learning new things.
